rclone backup

A private backup tool used by one person, on their own computer.

rclone backup copies the owner's files from their own Mac to a folder in the owner's own Google Drive once a day, so the files can be restored if the computer's disk fails. It uses rclone, an open-source file sync program, with the Google Drive API.

The app is not offered to the public. It has no accounts, no website features, and no users other than its owner. Signing in only lets the owner's copy of rclone read and write files in the owner's Google Drive.

Details of what data the app touches and how it is handled are in the privacy policy.
